Clock Tower’s a’changing

MAYNARD

In a surprising twist to plans announced at a January selectmen’s meeting, Whole House Group has announced it has signed a letter of intent to build the Battle Road Brewery and Brew Pub in Maynard’s historic Clock Tower Mill.

The Battle Road Brewery and Brew Pub will be located in Building 5 of what Maynard residents call “the mill.” With a fall 2015 opening date, the construction of Battle Road includes a state-of-the-art 30-barrel brewery, seating for 50 to 75 people inside the brew pub, as well as a traditional outdoor beer garden overlooking Mill Pond.

Whole House Group Managing Partner Greg Hill stated, “To me, the mill was the ideal location for Battle Road Brewery & Brew Pub all along. The brick and post and beam architecture lends itself to creating a beautiful brew pub, which will be built around our new 30-barrel brewery featuring the best equipment available to brew Battle Road’s signature brews like 1775 Tavern Ale, Barrett’s Farmhouse Ale, Lexington Green East IPA, and Midnight Rider Porter – as well as some new brews that master brewers Jeremy Cross and Scott Houghton have in store. As soon as the mill’s new ownership came on board, they made the Battle Road Brewery and Brew Pub a priority, and we were able to get a deal done in days. We couldn’t be more excited about brewing our beer, and serving it, in Maynard for years to come.”

“Maynard is very excited to bring Battle Road Brewery and Brew Pub to town,” said Maynard Town Administrator Kevin Sweet. “Their state-of-the-art facility and outdoor beer garden will entertain residents and draw out-of-town visitors to see all that our town has to offer. I could not think of a better spot than our iconic Clock Tower Mill for this new business and restaurant to call home.”

Hello All!

Hello ALL,
It is looking like I will be leaving the Clock Tower in Maynard it is not economically feasible nor wise to continue haven’t had a pay check in really a year actually good deal longer so I need to wake up and smell the coffee and the other realities.  Plus the new landlords are not so accommodating particularly since I owe two months of rent so before I get into ditch I can not climb-extricate out of, it is time to make a move.
So if you need anything supplement wise there is a short window here.
Thank You for the years of support!
I hope all is well Take Good Care Love to all!
Roger
